    World of Goo Goes iPad

One of our many interviews last SF trip was with Ron Carmel. Ron, when combined with Kyle Gabler, makes up 2D BOY - the creators of World of Goo . In our interview, we talked about a lot of things, but one exciting and timely tidbit he shared with us is that World of Goo is coming to the iPad!

The official launch date for WOG iPad is December 16th.

The 2D BOY Boys are awesome and have been a huge help with/supporter of the film, so we thought we d put together a little piece with Ron talking about the iPad version.

Yeah, yeah, this piece is essentially a short little commercial for the new game. But, Ron and Kyle are super nice guys, we had the footage, and it s cool to get a little sneak peak at the game, so there we go...

...But, if you do have an iPad, get the game - it's good :)

Find out everything about the guys, the game and all the iPad details over at www.2dBoy.com.

Hey guys, this piece was especially amazing. The music and the editing was spot on - very well done. That's not to say the other clips haven't been amazing - but this one grabbed my attention. Aweome job! Keep it up, I hope to see another 120 hours of footage released ;)

Awesome video. I'm also excited to see this game finally coming to iOS platforms, I bought this game for my Mac a couple years ago and loved it.

I would like to see more videos on some iOS game developers too if possible. :)

@Steve - Thanks so much - there is more bonus video to come!

@pchukwura Yeah, WofG and the iPad makes just too much sense. It's such a natural fit. And yep, there will be some more iOS game talk in the actual movie - in fact, the iOS stuff is a piece that we are particularly excited to cut :)

(clarification: We are covering indie games that happen to be iOS games, and not so much iOS the platform itself)
